Grey images to match my mood today. I think winter is depressing. I’ve never been a fan of it. I had to force myself to get out of the house today to explore something new, so at least I got a walk in. I had a wander around the Essendon Airport precinct which is undergoing something of a renaissance with new retail and commercial outlets putting down roots. It's pretty quiet for a Sunday and I keep feeling that I'm on private property and I'm about to be turfed out.
My friend and colleague Jane Davies and I went to the Ballarat International Foto Biennale over the weekend and although it was bloody freezing, we still wandered around a good few exhibitions. My favourite amongst them was the work of South Korean photographer Youngho Kang.
