I had another great day/evening assisting Nic Granleese at the yearly Australian Institute of Architects Victorian Architecture Awards night. This year it was held in the Melbourne Room at the Convention Centre and we had our set rigged up in the foyer. Our job is to photograph the award winners, and any other unsuspecting victims we can coerce into hamming it up for the camera. I recently spent some time working in Sydney with Nic Granleese at offices like these:  Breakfast by the Southern Lagoon / Nepean River after a 5.30am start   Dinner break at Watsons Bay Tragic, isn't it? Somewhat appropriately, this old camera was in the lobby of our digs. We're not talking "this is as big as your head" type of camera. We're talking "this is as big as you" type of camera.
