My final folio is settled, mostly printed and I’m scheduled to deliver in a couple of days. Nervous much? I’m glad that it’s done and I’m pretty happy with the result but you never know how these things will be received.
We’ll have quick presentations in class on Thursday – our final class for the course, then I’m scheduled to present to the assessment panel on Sunday. Yes, Sunday. Whoever said educators get too many holidays clearly hasn’t seen them in action. Many of the lecturers at PSC frequently work a 12 hour day (teaching and administration) and classes run at least 6 days a week. I’m tired just thinking about it.
Here’s the still life I decided on – all from Matt’s workshop at Opus In Wood. I decided to work the contrast on this part of the folio in keeping with the grittiness of the space.
It’s hard to believe that final year is practically over. I think I will sleep for a week after Sunday!
