Sometimes a picture needs a little helping hand. This housing project was still in construction mode when I photographed it, so it was partially fenced off. There were bright orange fence feet and bollards everywhere, and the curbing and nature strip were yet to be repaired. The burny bastard was high in the sky too, so it was all a bit glary and horrible. So, how did it get to this? Well, it started here. After a little negotiation with the Gods of Construction, it was agreed that the fencing could come down so I'd at least have a clear shot at the front of the building. The tradies on site were super helpful and also removed orange bollards at the front of the building and most of the fence feet from the area, but there were some left over that the weakling that is Yours Truly couldn’t budge (those buggers are usually filled with sand or water). So, some repair work needed to be done in post production. Which went something like this: First, get rid of the orange fence feet coz they're really doing nothing for nobody. Add a bit of curbing and some pretend grass, and something that resembles newly laid asphalt, and then finish it off with a bit of contour and vibrance work - et voila; done.
I'd like to say it only took me 20 minutes but that would be a complete lie!
